We use our programme of assemblies to come together as a school, to celebrate successes and achievements, and to promote key values.
We start the week with Celebration Assembly on Monday afternoon, where Miss Shaw shares successes from the previous week, including announcing each class' Star of the Week, revealing the winner of the Attendance Cup and handing out merit and tables awards.
Tuesday assemblies are led by our Learning Superheroes, who send us videos each week. Each half-term is themed around a different superhero, who introduces themself and their powers at the start of the term, and then discusses issues and topics which are important to them over the weeks that follow. For example, in the Summer Term it was Isaac Independence's turn to lead assemblies, and you can see the videos he sent us below [please be aware that some of the files are very large, as they were intended to be watched on the projector screen in the hall]:
On Wednesdays, assemblies take place in each phase, often following-up on the themes introduced by our Superheroes earlier in the week.
