This term, Year 3 and 4 have been taking a roadtrip across the USA in their geography lessons, learning about the huge range of physical environments found across this huge country. They rounded-off their topic with a fantastic USA Day, taking part in geography, cooking, art and PE lessons, all linked to the geography and culture of the United States of America.
The actitives included:
- Printing workshops led by Mrs Draper, combining stars, stripes and the colours of the US flag to make some fantastic designs
- A sports circuit run by Mr Butler, including American Football, golf and basketball
- Cooking with Mrs Clawson and Mrs Moore, making (and baking) individual apple pies
- Map work challenges with Mrs Rose, using globes and atlases to discover more about the states that make up the USA.
