Dancing!

We rounded-off our Mental Health Week by coming together (in socially distanced class bubbles) to perform a whole-school dance. Each class learnt the Juraselma dance, which is made up of simple repetitive moves which has allowed everyone to learn the sequence. The song itself is very positive and uplifting, and we thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of learning the dance and performing together on the field.

It was great to have a chance to do something 'together' (even when well spaced out) and to share in a whole-school experience for the first time this year.

"Pastoral care is strong. Staff ... share the headteacher’s commitment and determination to make sure the school is a ‘safe haven’ and that all pupils feel safe and are well cared for."
