Our latest news:

  • Our Summer Fayre saw the whole school come together - and collected £1550 for School Council Funds.
  • Our production of The Lion King was a big hit, with over 400 tickets sold across 3 brilliant performances and every member of Keystage 2 involved.
  • 32 members of year 5/6 had an unforgettable weekend away at PGL in Surrey.
  • We celebrated the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with a magic show, home-made crowns and a fantastic afternoon tea out on the field.   
  • We got together for a brilliant Science Week, which included workshops with scientists from the Natural History Museum, animal sessions led by Teaching Talons, and our annual Egg Drop Challenge.    
  • We've been out and about for the first time since the pandemic began! Year 5 and 6 have visited Knebworth House, while everyone in Nursery and Reception spent a lovely day at Ardeley Church Farm.   
  • Year 3/4 wrapped-up their Roadtrip USA topic with a fab USA Day, which saw them cooking apple pies, learning to play American Football, solving map-work challenges and producing some amazing art prints.  
  • Nursery and Reception took part in Stay and Play sessions, sharing their learning (and their classrooms) with parents and carers.  
  • We wrote speeches, made presentations and went to the polls to elect our new School Councillors.

Sports news

We love getting involved every sporting opportunity that comes our way, from football to gymnastics to hockey to dance. Here's a sample of what we've been up to recently:   

  • We tried out a wide range of sports with our Sports Week challenges.
  • Year 5 and 6 all took part in the Bikeability project, learning to ride safely both on the playground and local roads.  
  • Our Football teams have been in weekly action, playing in the Stevenage Schools FA leagues and Cup.
