"Pupils are taught how to keep themselves, and others, safe on the internet."
ICT is used throughout the school and across the curriculum. Every classroom has its own Interactive Whiteboard, and the we also have 30 laptops and 16 ipads, which are used by every class to support their work across the curriculum. Every class learns new, specific Computing skills as part of their topic, covering topics from spreadsheets and databases to video editing and programming robots. We also work hard to use ICT throughout the school to research, improve and present our work.

What we've been doing this term
- Year 1 have learnt to make talking books using ipads, acting-out and capturing a variety of different fairytales, all linked to their A Land Far, Far Away topic. They recorded sound effects and filmed each other's performances, then shared these as a class and discussed how their work could be improved... [ read more ]
- Year 5 created challenging quizzes, buidling on the information they had collected as part of their Biographies unit, which had focussed on superheroes. They then published them online, using the website Survey Monkey. Class 9 created questions relating to Iron Man, and Class 10 devised their quiz about Batman. Once they had completed the survey, they collated the responses and will be analysing the results in the coming weeks. You can try the surveys out yourself by following the links below:
