    ICT is used throughout the school and across the curriculum. Every classroom has its own interactive whiteboard, and the we also have 32 laptops and 16 ipads, which are used by every class to support their work across the curriculum. Every class learns new, specific Computing skills as part of their topic, covering topics from spreadsheets and databases to video editing and programming robots. We also work hard to use ICT throughout the school to research, improve and present our work.

What we've been doing this term blank

  • Year 1 leart to use Microsoft Word to format and present their work. They discovered how to change the size, colour and font of their text, and then combined this with pictures imported from clipart to create Christmas cards.... [ read more ]

  • Eagles and Falcons developed their programming skills, using Scratch software to create Pong inspired games. They learnt to create sprites which they could control and which could interact with other objects, scoring systems that reacted to on-screen events and then adapted and modified their games in response to feedback...
